Ankit Tiwari Was an Indian playback singer. He was born on 6 March 1986 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his school studies at Jugal Devi Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Kanpur. He has lent his voice to many chartbuster songs like “Sun Raha Hai Na Tu” from Aashiqui 2’ (2013) and “Galliyan” from Ek Villain (2014). In 2008, he moved to Mumbai with his brother to try his luck as a playback singer. Ankit and his brother stayed in Mumbai with Anuj Kumar, who worked in Virar as a cameraman. Ankit used to compose jingles for TV commercials at the beginning of his career. As a music composer, he got his first break in the film “Do Dooni Chaar” (2010).
His first song as a singer in a Bollywood film was ‘Saheb Bada Hathila’ from Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster (2011), but he failed to get recognition. Later, Mahesh Bhatt heard him singing and asked him to lend his voice to the song “Sunn Raha Hai” in ‘Aashiqui 2’ (2013), and this song was a chartbuster. He has lent his voice to more chartbuster songs including ‘Tu Hai Ki Nahi’ from Roy (2015), ‘Dil Cheez Tujhe Dedi’ from Airlift (2016), and ‘Tere Liye’ from Sanam Re (2016).

Ankit Tiwari was born to her father Rajendra Kumar Tiwari (Devotional Singer) and his mother Suman Tiwari (Devotional Singer). He has a brother named Ankur Tiwari (Music Composer). Ankit’s grandmother met Pallavi in 2017 when she was traveling on a train from Kanpur to Delhi, and after a normal conversation, she found Pallavi to be an ideal match for her grandson, Ankit. Subsequently, he married Pallavi Shukla, a mechanical engineer on 23 February 2018. The couple is blessed with a baby girl, Aryaa Tiwari.
